Mint
is a carminative herb that supports digestive system. It relaxes the stomach and stimulates peristalsis. A great herbal remedy for IBS. It is also a hepatic herb that helps in liver detoxification. It can reduce stress and anxiety and a good herb for those of us fighting Multiple Sclerosis. In addition, it has diaphoretic properties and helps clear nasal passages by promoting perspiration. I usually drink a cup of this tea daily and noticed that I tend to sleep better when I have it in the evenings.
