Avo-Kale Smoothie with Jaggery or Molasses

Ingredients:
Medium-sized ripe Avocado – 1
Banana – 1
Kale – 2 cups
Flaxseed Meal – 2 tbsp
Powdered Jaggery – 2 tbsp
Water – 4 cups (1 more cup if you like it less thick)

Preparation:
Jaggery is the unrefined sugar that is brown in color. You get it in powdered form or in blocks. It is rich in iron and other nutrients. It has the potential to fight respiratory problems, migraines and removing toxins. If you can’t get jaggery you could use molasses for this recipe.

Blend all the ingredients for 3-4 minutes. Serve it cold.



Serves: 4 or 5
