Refreshing Ginger Zing

4,5 liters of luke warm water
3 tablespoons Xylitol, or stevia to taste
1½ teaspoons cream of tartar
1½ teaspoons scorbic acid (from a pharmacy or health shop)
3 teaspoons ginger powder
50 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
100 ml pitted raisins
Skins of one pineapple (optional)
2 – 3 slices fresh, crushed ginger (optional)

Mix all the ingredients together. Stir until the xylitol is dissolved. Cover the bowl/bucket lightly and let it stand covered in a cool area for ±12 hours.

Pour the mixture through a soft cloth or sieve into storage bottles. (This removes all solids from the mixture.)

Store in the refrigerator and serve chilled.
