Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients:
Brussels Sprouts – 10
Olive Oil – 2tbsp
Salt to taste
Cayenne Pepper – 3 pinches
Dried Parsley – 1tbsp

Preparation:

Brussels Sprouts belong to the Brassica family of vegetables like cabbage or Kale. This therefore fights cancer. It also helps in eliminating toxins from our bodies by producing enzymes that cleanse our system. This vegetable is good for our immune system due to the high concentration of vitamin C.

Preheat oven to 400F. Mix olive oil, salt, pepper and dried parsley in a mixing bowl. Roll the brussels sprouts in the mixture. Roast the brussels sprouts in oven for 30 minutes. Every 10 minutes toss the brussels sprouts to ensure even roasting. Serve it hot with salad or mashed potatoes.
