Homemade Tomato Sauce

By: Esther Vasa

Ingredients:
Tomatoes – 2 diced
Olive oil – 1 tbsp
Diced Garlic cloves – 3
Diced Parsley – 2 tbsp
Cayenne Pepper – 3 pinches (or as you need)
Salt – per your taste
White Vinegar – 1tbsp
Raw, Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar – 1 tbsp
Diced Fresh thyme and rosemary – 1 pinch each (optional)

Preparation:
Put the oil in a pan and allow it to heat up a bit. Then, add the diced tomatoes and let them cook for three minutes. Next, add the rest of ingredients except the leaves (parsley, thyme and rosemary). Stir for a minute. Blend this until a smooth paste is formed. Then garnish with the leaves and mix thoroughly. This is your tomato sauce. You could use this with your pasta or spring rolls or cabbage rolls. This is so yummy! I could say this because my son slurps away this sauce all by itself!

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Serves: Depends on the dish
