Classic Banana-Strawberry Smoothie

Banana – 2
Strawberries – 8
Slivered Almonds – 2 tbsp
Water – 3 cups
Sweetener (optional)

Just a word on the sweetener… You could use truvia or purevia. Both are prepared from rebiana derived from stevia but have erythritol which could have laxative effect when consumed a lot. So, watch out!

Make sure you remove the hull of the strawberries. Blend all the ingredients for 3-4 minutes. The nice pink smoothie has to be served cold.
