Juicy Asparagus

Asparagus – 2 bunches
Extra Virgin Olive oil – 1 tbsp
Dry parsley and basil – 1 tsp each
Sea salt and pepper as per your taste

Asparagus is one of my favorite vegetable and I love its texture. It is rich in folate, potassium and is used to treat arthritis. It has a diuretic effect and helps in controlling swelling.

Clean the asparagus in water. On a glass baking tray put the asparagus and put the oil, salt, pepper and the dried parsley and basil. Use clean hands and mix them all well and arrange the asparagus in the tray. Cover the lid and put in the preheated oven at about 350F. Leave it in the oven for about 20 minutes. Pull out the tray and test if the knife goes through asparagus easily. Now your juicy asparagus is ready for enjoying!
